Our typical day includes pampering beloved pets and saving the lives of animals who need care. After-hours emergencies are referred to a local e-clinic. Our staff members can expect a 4 ½ to 5 ½ day work week and no holiday hours in a non-corporate practice environment operating on team-based management principles. We serve a diverse suburban population of dedicated client families and a great community of foster/rescue organizations in a hospital caring primarily for dogs and cats. Our highly experienced veterinary team seeks an co-workers who enjoy practicing in a team-based veterinary practice. An team member at HVC can look forward to a practice environment which supports veterinary family practice, preventative medicine (a pioneering program started in 2001), integrative medicine (i.e. acupuncture and cold-laser therapy), orthopedic surgical techniques, soft tissue surgery, shelter/rescue medicine (forensics), avian and small mammal care, and team-based management today--while looking forward to expanding his or her particular career interests and integrating them into our practice tomorrow.
